Sarah Adolphson

Co-CEO

Sarah is an expert in entertainment strategy & engagement with extensive philanthropic experience working with many of the world’s leading global celebrities. Her work mirrors the agency’s proficiencies—from advising clients on public/private partnerships, to organizational strategy, to brand building and measurement, to creating a corporate social responsibility program.

Drawing on a broad array of multi-faceted local, national and international relationships, Sarah has collaborated with foundations, corporations, NGOs and The White House across numerous issue areas, including improving the quality of America’s public education system, the passage of the Affordable Care Act and increasing economic support and employment opportunities for veterans.

Before joining The Artemis Agency, Sarah led all philanthropic efforts for WME|IMG, working with high-profile clients to create successful, robust charitable initiatives designed to raise awareness about their individual causes and interests. She also established all of the structure and programming for employee charitable matching, company drives, corporate event sponsorship models, and WME|IMG’s global company-wide day of service (Walk the Walk), which facilitated volunteer activities for nearly 5,000 employees in more than 130 communities around the world.

Sarah began her career by serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia where she developed a passion and commitment to community engagement and philanthropic service. She is a graduate of USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Her thesis, which reported on the smart practices of public engagement through mobile government solutions, was nominated for the John Randolph and Dora Haynes Foundation Recognition Award. Sarah is a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha and Nu Lamda Mu honor societies, and serves on the boards of BridgeUSA, The Art of Elysium and Unsilenced.


Catherine Kimmel

Co-CEO

Catherine is a skillful connector who harnesses her unique and powerful network of global leaders across diverse sectors to transform the philanthropic landscape. She produces campaigns and events for some of the world’s most renowned and respected actors, directors, performing artists, politicians and nonprofit organizations.

Drawing on an extensive production, theater and campaign management experience, Catherine founded her own strategic consulting firm, CK/LA where she helped clients achieve success by utilizing the private sector and cultural influencers to amplify important social messages. Currently Catherine serves as the west coast lead consultant for Bono’s ONE and (RED) campaigns, and Al Gore’s Climate reality project where she recently helped produce “24 Hours of Reality/Live Earth”, a world-wide broadcast in multiple languages across the globe that awakened people to the climate crisis.

Her commitment to raising public awareness and elevating the profile of various non-profits has enabled her to direct a number of national and global advocacy projects for organizations including The City of Joy – a transformational leadership community for women survivors of violence, located in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo – and a variety of national political policy initiatives including events at the 2012 Democratic National Committee Convention with Former U.S. President Bill Clinton. She has also proudly worked with Action Against Hunger International, Malaria No More, Global Green International (founded by Mikhail Gorbachev) and Children’s Health Council.

Catherine is passionate about theater and storytelling. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BFA and began her career in television at ABC. Following that she served as assistant director at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, and as Literary Manager at the Ojai Playwright’s Conference.


Courtney Appell 

Chief OperationS Officer

Courtney brings nearly 10 years of experience connecting the needs of the entertainment community and the social sector to The Artemis Agency. She has created and helped manage the charitable campaigns, program strategy, and structure for numerous high profile clients, including Giada De Laurentiis, Lilly Singh, Julianne Hough, and Olivia Wilde. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the private and public sectors and how to navigate them to make tangible, positive change.  

Prior to joining The Artemis Agency, Courtney was a critical component to the Endeavor Foundation’s success, overseeing social impact partnerships, assisting clients across the entire company in their charitable initiatives, and managing the company's relationships with partner schools in California, New York, Nashville, and the U.K. She was particularly instrumental in driving the company’s community investments in Compton, CA, where she helped to measurably improve academic performance by identifying and facilitating highly effective partnerships.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Courtney graduated from Pepperdine University with BS in Business. She currently sits on the Associate Board for City Year Los Angeles. A passionate animal activist, Courtney resides in Los Angeles with her husband, son and rescue dog.


Meredith Bocklet

Vice President, Talent Relations

Meredith is a deft strategist with more than 10 years’ experience at the intersection of talent integration and content development. Working to align messaging with talent, Meredith draws upon her vast cultural knowledge and deep understanding of mission to create and execute bespoke partnerships.

Prior to joining The Artemis Agency, Meredith oversaw internal event programming for global entertainment, sports and content company Endeavor and its companies including 160over90, Endeavor Content, IMG, UFC and WME. With the goals of C-suite and senior leadership in mind, Meredith conceptualized and executed dynamic content and messaging aimed to drive innovation and connectivity across Endeavor’s portfolio and beyond. During her tenure Meredith identified, vetted and secured over 200 industry visionaries – among them world leaders, Fortune 500 CEOs, lauded entertainers, sports legends and scientific pioneers – for best-in-class private and public-facing corporate events.

Raised in Chatham, NJ, Meredith currently lives outside of Philadelphia. She received her BA in Communication from Fairfield University.


Sloan Thomas

Manager, Talent Relations

Sloan Thomas brings vast experience in entertainment and her enthusiasm for philanthropy to The Artemis Agency. As a client engagement manager, she ensures our clients have the resources and support they need to better the world. Sloan commits her free time to organizations that focus on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues, particularly in minorities and young people.

Before joining The Artemis Agency, Sloan spent years in film and television, producing shows ranging from sports talk to weekly network dramas. She has worked with Oscar-winning actors, Hall of Fame athletes, and many other acclaimed actors, directors and athletes.

Sloan’s extensive work in both philanthropy and entertainment grant her a unique understanding of both philanthropic causes, event production and the entertainment industry, making her invaluable to The Artemis Agency and our clients.


Molly Stone

Manager, Client Engagement

Molly is a passionate strategist who finds her home at the intersection of language, performance and social justice. As the Program Coordinator at Artemis, Molly supports our clients with her skills and experience in relationship building, logistical organization and event programming.

She has extensive experience in the non-profit sphere, working with transformative organizations such as Bond Street Theatre, the Death Penalty Project, Mid-Iowa Community Action and Tuesday’s Children. Valuing empathy and curiosity, Molly continues to learn and find the tools needed to be a compassionate global citizen. She started her professional life in the entertainment industry at the age of four and, with that background, grew up with an instinctive understanding that performance can provide a platform for crucial discussion around larger, social issues. She intertwined this belief into her senior research project which explored how performance can be a tool for peacemaking: a project she adapted into a video workshop for the NYPL through Urban Stages. 

Molly was born and raised in Los Angeles, and has dual US-UK citizenship. She received a BA in English and Theatre & Dance with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies from Grinnell College in Iowa. She is a proud Pack Member at Wolf Connection and member of the Bond Street Theatre youth group.

Jeff Davidoff

The founder of The Idea Monkeys, Jeff is passionate about the power of ideas, and is drawn to complex issues and challenges. Jeff is an innovator in global marketing for both public and private sectors and is a staunch advocate for the underrepresented and marginalized - driven to bring their stories to life and make their issues visible. 

His experience includes conceptualizing and creating breakthrough global campaigns, launching strategic partnerships, expanding brands into new categories, re-engineering organizations for the digital future, and building and nurturing teams from five to 500.

Jeff holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School, Northwestern University and a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College. He serves as an Executive in Residence for Northwestern University’s IMC graduate program. He is a recipient of the inaugural Human Rights Council “best ad of the year” award. Jeff is a member of the Food Research and Action Center board.


Jeff Hare

Jeff Hare created JH/PR in 2016 and uses his experience in public relations to support start-up companies, actors, directors and writers as well as independent film campaigns. Offering services that expand beyond the walls of PR, he offers assistance in marketing and branding.

His entertainment work experience began at the Walt Disney Studios in feature publicity and went on to Warner Bros where he held the position of Sr. Publicist and is a three-time nominee for the Les Mason award. The award is the equivalent to Publicist of the Year. 

In 2008, Hare took on the role of Head of Publicity at DreamWorks Animation and worked on all aspects of the company’s business including films, television, theatrical, technology, corporate communications and personal publicity for CEO, Jeffrey Katzenberg. 

Recently, Hare has transitioned into more production roles having co-produced a romantic comedy and Executive produced a horror film for Falling Flame Pictures, where he serves as Chief Marketing Officer.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, California Southland Chapter, sits on the board of two other charity organizations, and supports many other charities in an advisory capacity. He resides in Los Angeles. 


Valerie Kulbersh

Valerie Kulbersh is a communications strategist and writer with more than 15 years of experience. She specializes in strategic communications and activations that strengthen brands and solidify their place in the market. She has created brand positions and produced thought leadership content for education nonprofits, tech startups, commodity boards and more.

Valerie understands the delicate balance between the tiniest details and the biggest picture, and she uses that skill to help clients succeed. Her proudest moments are when the work affects people and communities for the better.

Valerie has experience in many business sectors, including not-for-profit, USDA commodity boards, technology, food and beverage, health and wellness, b-2-b and more. Throughout her career, she has worked with numerous well-known organizations, including 3M, Diageo, E. & J. Gallo, Blue Ridge Public Radio, North American Roofing Services and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Judy Levy

Levy Pazanti & Associates is the oldest and most established event coordination/fund raising firm in Southern California. Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, the philanthropic values they began they instilled in their business, continue today. 

Judy Levy established the firm in 1980 after performing a myriad of positions with national and statewide political campaigns.  After a successful stint working on numerous political campaigns, she opened J. Levy & Associates in 1980.  Ellen Pazanti joined the firm shortly after its opening.  After 40 years, Ellen Pazanti has retired to spend more time with her family and friends.   

As the Pandemic swept our country and the world, Judy Levy has dedicated herself to bringing her 40 years with the company, coupled with her decade plus work in the political arena to help non-profits and for profits organizations navigate this once-in-a-century time.  In addition to Levy, Pazanti & Assoc., Judy has established a new entity, Judy Levy Consulting, LLC. 

Judy has always had a passion for making a difference.  Clients include and have included a who’s who of the entertainment, philanthropic and corporate communities.  In honor of their success as business owners, Judy Levy and Ellen Pazanti were inducted into the National Association of Women Business Owners – Inaugural Los Angeles Hall of Fame in March 2006.  And, in June 2007, Judy Levy and Ellen Pazanti were among the four inaugural inductees into Biz Bash’s Los Angeles Hall of Fame.

Derek Lipman

Derek is a unique, multifaceted creative executive who blends a practical, business-oriented mindset and technological awareness with an overarching artistic vision. For the last 25 years, he has helped world-famous talent, top entertainment companies as well as altruistic charities to create and manage their brand messaging through multimedia communications that are forward-thinking, creative yet pragmatic. 

Early in his career, Derek worked directly with clients as a web and graphic designer while building audio/visual skills in the post-production and voiceover industries. Later he had the opportunity to work with WMA (The William Morris Agency, later WME | IMG) where he was instrumental in building their creative services department. His role grew to department director where he managed the rebranding through two major mergers, as well as overseeing the day-to-day visual communications of one of the largest entertainment agencies in the world. He put his all into whatever he was working on whether he was producing a multi-stage, star-studded event, magazine ads, presentation decks, to everyday but essential collateral documents. 

More recently, he has taken all his abilities, skills, and experiences to his own company called ISM (Image Sound & Motion) where he offers a full-service creative department producing top agency-level work for top companies that would otherwise not have access or be able to justify the expense of maintaining their own creative services department. Thanks to Derek’s wide array of experience, ISM is able to handle any creative project, across all media formats for a roster of issue-oriented, charity organizations and entertainment industry clients.


Kate Mansi

Every day, Emmy Award-Winning Actress and philanthropist Kate Mansi works to better our world. She is an ambassador for Bring Change to Mind, where she fights to destigmatize mental differences; has volunteered with Orphanage Outreach to teach English to children in Haiti; and previously devoted her time and resources to charity: water, which brings clean drinking water to communities in need.

The Artemis Agency knows that the strategic marriage of a worthwhile organization and socially conscious A-lister can help bring awareness to important causes. As an advisor for the agency, Kate uses her experience as both a philanthropist and actor to help ensure our clients and well-known advocates seamlessly work together for the greater good. 

Mansi has been a mainstay on TVs across the country since beginning her acting career with a 2008 role on How I Met Your Mother. Kate’s latest projects include the romantic comedy "The Office Mixup" and the WB’s new show "Casa Grande." A lifelong Californian, Mansi is a Los Angeles native and graduate of Pepperdine University.
